Course Content
This one day workshop covers: massage positions, massage techniques during
pregnancy, shiatsu points, reflexology points, carrier oils, safety
precautions, contra-indications

A qualification
in body massage is required.
Qualification
Attained
A Manchester
School of Massage 'Massage in Pregnancy' certificate of
attendance is provided and this workshop provides CPD
Points.
Further Information
Massage during
pregnancy helps relieve sore, tight muscles and reduces
swelling. It increases mental and physical energy levels and
improves sleep.
Massage is also good for the baby as research has shown that
the unborn baby can be affected by stress levels experienced
by its mother.
Course times are
from 10.30 am to 5.00 pm.
The venue is at the Manchester School of Massage in
South Manchester.
The group size is kept at ten or below for individual
attention.
